Dr. Alice Levine received her MD degree from Columbia University College of Physicians & Surgeons. She then completed her internal medicine residency at Bellevue Hospital Center and New York University. After completing her fellowship in Endocrinology and Metabolism at the Mount Sinai Hospital, she joined the faculty member of the Mount Sinai School of Medicine in 1986. She divides her time between clinical, teaching and research activities. Dr Levine co-director of the Endocrine Neoplasia Program, in which the Parathyroid Center is housed. She is the Course Director for the Second Year Medical School Endocrine Pathophysiology Course and is often cited as one of the outstanding Faculty Teachers by Medical Students, Residents and Fellows. She also mentors students and faculty in clinical and basic science research.
